Petersen is a collection of various maps that show domination and places that were conquered. The large map in the center presents events of WWII in the Eastern Hemisphere and conquered countries. Invasions, battles, and naval bases are included in the map. A legend is provided in the bottom center of the map. On the left sidelines includes conquerers of the past and their empires. Some of these include the Persian Empire, the Empire of Alexander the Great, the Roman Empire, the Conquests of Islam, Europe under Napoleon, and Asia under the Mongols.
